Lawrence Ray, known as “Lawrence Grecco,” was sentenced to 60 years in prison on Friday for years of sexual abuse and manipulation involving students at Sarah Lawrence University in New York, the DOJ announced. Ray was convicted of racketeering conspiracy, violent crime in aid of racketeering, extortion, sex trafficking, forced labor, tax evasion and money laundering offenses.
“Larry Ray is a monster,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said. Judge Liman also highlighted “the resiliency of the human spirit and the courage of the victims” at the sentencing hearing.
