A Connecticut man who claims he was shot in the face by former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez has sued CNN for airing images of him while he was recovering in a Florida hospital, the Boston Herald reports. Alexander Bradley is seeking to recover damages after the images were shown in the documentary “CNN Special Report: Downward Spiral Inside the Case Against Aaron Hernandez” which aired last spring. In two segments, Bradley was seen in photos lying “unconscious, bloodied, bandaged and intubated” in St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fl, the lawsuit said.

Bradley contends he never authorized the hospital or CNN to photograph him while he was in the hospital bed, nor did he provide them with any photos. As a result of what he alleges is an invasion of privacy, the lawsuit said, Bradley has suffered severe emotional distress. Hernandez is serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. He settled a lawsuit in February that Bradley filed in Florida. Bradley, once of a friend of Hernandez, had been seeking damages for the injuries he suffered in the 2013 shooting after Hernandez and he had left a Florida strip club.
