Ohio Urine-Provider Faces Federal Prison Sentence

An Ohio man who sold fake urine meant to help people pass workplace drug tests has pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Pittsburgh, reports the Associated Press. David Neal, 61, of Middletown, Ohio, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to defraud the United States, introduction of misbranded drugs into interstate commerce and other charges. He faces up to six years in prison when he's sentenced May 13 in Pittsburgh.

Prosecutors said Neal, who runs ACS Herbal Tea Co., used two web addresses, www.123zip.com and www.passthetest.com, to sell products designed to beat workplace drug tests, including the one used by the federal government to screen potential hires for public safety and national security jobs in such industries as railroads, trucking and airlines.
