This position involves an equal emphasis on teaching excellence and research productivity. The principle teaching responsibility of this position is the instruction and coordination of our undergraduate and graduate toxicology courses and labs. Faculty on the tenure track must also regularly publish their scholarly research in respected journals and build a research program that will attract graduate and undergraduate students, and, ideally, extramural funding. Lastly, all faculty members are expected to provide substantial service to the mission of the Department and the College by serving on various academic committees, assisting in program administration such as in our growing undergraduate research program, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in research methods, and contributing to the assessment and continued advancement of our curriculum.
