Federal gun policy prompted a dramatic increase in the flow of guns to criminals from a gun dealer, finds a new study from the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research. Researchers studied the flow of guns at Badger Guns & Ammo, a Milwaukee-area gun shop, before and after the enactment of the Tiahrt Amendment, a series of amendments that prohibit the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) from releasing data from crime gun traces.
