The research replicates a similar finding in Flint, Michigan.

CHR lead researcher Dallas Drake presented the findings June 10 at a Homicide Research Working Group in NOLA. Possible implications of the research include assisting police in identifying “undetected” murders, and possibly predicting when homicides may occur.
