A survey of nearly 1,200 state trial judges around the country by the American Bar Association Coalition for Justice finds during the weak economy litigants are increasingly representing themselves.
Sixty percent of the judges say in the report, “Report on the Survey of Judges on the Impact of the Economic Downturn on Representation in the Courts” that fewer people are obtaining counsel with worse results for the outcome of their cases.
