Oklahoma prosecutors are facing a problem in their controversial murder case against a pharmacist who killed a robber. A key expert witness, Collie Trant, the state’s new chief medical examiner, has been called a liar and inept, reports The Oklahoman.
Trant, who did the autopsy on the fatally shot robber, was put on paid leave Monday, and is expected to be fired today. He is paid $235,000 a year. The new chief administrative officer at the medical examiner's office confirmed told a state board that Trant is a liar and inept.
