Before embarking on a teaching career, Jordan spent 10 years as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, eventually heading the White Collar Crimes unit of the U.S. Attorney’s office. White collar crime is among her academic areas of expertise. She has briefed attorneys, judges and law enforcers on white collar crime, and she is the coauthor of “White Collar Crime: Cases, Materials and Problems” (2005).
