Shooting Prompts Chief To Criticize Chicago Judge

When a Chicago judge slashed bail for reputed gang boss Kenyatta White in February after he was charged with shooting a man while out on bond on a murder charge, police and prosecutors warned that the court was inviting more violence. The Chicago Tribune says police are searching for White after witnesses identified him in a case this week in which a gang member in an ongoing dispute with White was shot several times. The new shooting is the latest violence in a gang feud police and prosecutors say was exacerbated when Cook County Circuit Judge Leo Holt reduced . . .
