Unshackled and uncuffed at a courtroom hearing yesterday, he had a fake handgun fashioned from cardboard and toilet paper tucked in his waistband. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that McCord made a run for it. Last night, he was still on the loose. Sheriff's deputies are concerned about McCord because he has nothing to lose.
