TX Prosecutor Released From Jail; Had Violated Gag Order In Murder Case


Williamson County, Tx., District Attorney Jana Duty, who had been found guilty of contempt of court for violating a gag order about a capital murder case, was released from jail tolday, reports the Austin American-Statesman. Duty started serving a 10-day jail sentence Friday. One of her attorneys had said she will not spend 10 days in jail because she will get two days credit for each day served.
