Communities with high rates of incarceration also often have a large number of crime victims. A new report seeks to pave a trail for these victims to have a greater role in creating public safety policy.
Moving Beyond Sides: The Power and Potential of a New Public Safety Policy Paradigm, was released by the Partnership for Safety and Justice. It sets out a strategy to connect victims with criminal justice reform organizations to give victims a voice on criminal justice reforms, and benefit all corners of the community.
