Christopher Baird has been named president of the National Council on Crime and Delinquency, succeeding Barry Krisberg. Baird had been serving as executive vice president. Baird has directed the agency’s midwest office since 1985, working in juvenile justice, adult corrections, and child welfare.
Under Krisberg’s leadership, NCCD grew significantly, expanding to include the fields of child welfare, education, and adult protective services.
