Holder, Mueller, Napolitano To Address IACP


The three federal officials who oversee terrorism-fighting efforts will address the International Association of Chiefs of Police in Denver on Monday, says the Denver Post. Scheduled to speak at the group’s national convention are FBI Director Robert Mueller, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

The conference is scheduled to run Saturday through Wednesday and is expected to draw more than 12,900 participants. Tomorrow, IACP will hold a program on race and the police, following up on the controversy over the arrest of Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates in his Cambridge, Ma., home.
