(202) 514-2007, Justice Department public affairs
This website, funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, includes links to state and territorial sex offender registries. The site is named after Dru Sjodin, a University of North Dakota student who was kidnapped, raped and murdered in 2003 by a registered sex offender. (Her killer, Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., a registered sex offender, was convicted and sentenced to death in 2006.) The website provides access to a network of all state sex offender registries, searchable by offender names as well as by state, county, town and ZIP code.
