Expertise: Gun litigation, Second Amendment, right to bear arms, gun control. Levy, described by the New York Times as “a rich libertarian lawyer who has never owned a gun,” played a key role in District of Columbia v. Heller, the case in which the Supreme Court ruled Washington's restrictive gun law unconstitutional. Levy both helped frame and single-handedly financed the case.
