CO Allows People To Create Web Map, Seek Sex Offenders


The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is allowing people to create a map and search for registered sex offenders by address, city, county or ZIP code, says the Rocky Mountain News. The site is

Juveniles and those convicted of misdemeanors aren’t included on the site, but a complete list is available from local law enforcement or can be ordered from the bureau. Five different symbols pop up on the new maps to make it easier for people to identify who’s living in their neighborhood. There are almost 6,500 on the registry and the state gets several thousand inquiries each month.
