An item in the November 23, 2007, edition of Crime & Jutice news on a cyber-harassment case in Missouri gave the incorrect age of the victim. Megan Meier, who committed suicide after a adult female neighbor ended an online relationship established in the fictitious name of a 16-year old boy, was 13 years old.
The story described a law passed by the Dardenne Prairie, Mo., Board of Aldermen making cyber-harassment a misdemeanor.
