FL Teens Knew of Murder But Said Nothing

After Norris Gaynor, a homeless man living on the streets of Fort Lauderdale, was killed in January, some teenage girls who knew the details of the slaying continued to socialize with the suspects and even went to movies with them, the Miami Herald reports.

The girls, who knew that suspects Billy Ammons, Thomas Daugherty and Brian Hooks had played a part in the murder, never reported what they knew to authorities, and actually told police they did not believe the boys could have been involved, the paper said.
