The Justice Department is putting together a nationwide strategy to ensure that state and local authorities get access to federal law enforcement intelligence about terrorism and crime, Attorney General John Ashcroft said today, reports the Associated Press. The National Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan represents input from law enforcement groups representing 1.2 million law enforcement officials
