FBI Director Robert Mueller is getting tired of learning important terrorism information from folks outside his team, like those who work for the main Justice Department or the Department of Homeland Security, says U.S. News & World Report.
The magazine says that Mueller has warned agents that they will be fired if they are not the first to tell him important items. One result, says the magazine, quoting a Justice Department “insider,” is that “Every little tidbit of useless information is going to headquarters from the field office, and they’re getting inundated.”
