http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/128134_capture25.html Harold McCord Jr., who escaped a Tacoma courthouse with a realistic-looking cardboard and toilet paper gun Monday, was shot to death in Monroe, Wash., Tuesday after a tip led police to where he was hiding, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports. The shootout injured one Monroe police officer, but his injuries were not considered life threatening.
