The probe of Wednesday’s bombing at Yale Law School focused on a man seen leaving the scene and on applicants recently rejected.
FBI investigators showed students a sketch of a man seen leaving the room where the bomb exploded minutes later. New Haven police said the man had been identified. They would not release his name.
Investigators also looked into people who may be angry with Yale. A source told the Hartford Courant the university had given investigators a list of applicants who were rejected by the school last week.
The bomb exploded in a first-floor classroom Wednesday. No one was hurt.
