Inspired by the MTV prank show “Jackass,” two teenagers pulled a stunt that prompted authorities to launch a manhunt and lock down Folsom Prison in Northern California, says the Los Angeles Times.
One teen donned an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs and ran along a rural road while a friend videotaped him. The April 27 prank backfired when citizens, patrol cars, tracking dogs and a helicopter to look for him. Folsom Prison officials ordered a full-scale lockdown, and jails in Placer and Sacramento counties checked their inmates.
